2023 Dinner and Auction

In April, the BEF held their annual dinner and live auction at the Silos Event Center! The evening was a huge success, raising over $15,000 to fund classroom needs across Berryhill Public Schools!

The BEF is always looking for opportunities to highlight the amazing students and staff at BPS and students played big roles at this year's dinner!

Mrs. Howard's culinary class made all of our desserts and they were AMAZING! And during the auction, a tiered cake baked by a culinary student brought in $500!

Our sit down dinner was served by some of a great group of students from north elementary and middle school!

Mr. Jones and the Jazz Band provided live music during dinner!

Our MC this year was Jay Howard, lead Pastor at Simple Church Tulsa. Thank you Jay for keeping our festivities moving all evening!

Every year at the dinner, honor teachers, faculties, community members and business who exemplify what makes The Hill a great place to live and attend school. This year's recipients are:

Community Leader: Jack Lollis	Jack Lollis is continually asking BEF “What can I do to help support BEF?” BEF and Berryhill Schools appreciate all that you do to support the efforts to continually improve student experiences. Thanks for being a positive leader for our community and an advocate to improve student experiences at Berryhill schools.
Berryhill Teacher: Amanda Howard	​Amanda has used BEF grants this year to improve the culinary experience for her students. The students made food truck food items and designed food trucks to serve the items in. They invited guests to vote on top food selection and food truck. In addition, the HS Culinary students made our dessert this evening. Thanks for making a positive impact to improve student experiences at Berryhill schools.
Berryhill Faculty: Danny Buckner	​We added a school faculty member this year to honor. We wanted to do this because the support faculty make a big impact and difference in our student’s lives. This faculty member is new to our school system and was chosen because he has helped to support our gardens project, using grants to improve school maintenance projects, and has the students interest at the top of his list. He has engaged the students to take ownership over the care and maintenance of the school campus with cleaning and trash pickup. Thanks for making a positive impact to improve student experiences at Berryhill schools.
